Technito® Arborvitae

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 2–3 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the trunk.

Water deeply and regularly the first 2–3 seasons; once established it is moderately drought tolerant. Technito® is a very compact, slow-growing globe arborvitae that requires essentially no pruning to maintain its naturally round form. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Monitor for bagworms and spider mites in hot, dry conditions. An excellent, no-fuss evergreen for formal edging, foundation plantings, and small-scale formal landscapes where a consistently rounded, miniature form is desired.
