Plant in average to moist, well-drained soil. Space 4–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water consistently after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Little pruning is needed- remove dead or crossing branches in early spring. Plant with another viburnum variety for cross-pollination and the best berry display. Fertilize lightly in spring. The white flower clusters in spring, dark berries in fall that birds love, and attractive fall foliage color make this a productive and ornamental native shrub. A compact selection with a tidy, manageable habit. Largely pest-free.
