Winter Fiesta Wintergreen

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–5.5) with good organic content. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water consistently throughout the season- wintergreen prefers reliably moist, acidic, cool conditions. The plant spreads slowly by rhizomes to form a low, evergreen groundcover. No fertilization generally needed. Winter Fiesta has particularly vibrant, festive winter coloring- the foliage brightens or takes on attractive seasonal tones in cold weather, adding winter interest to the year-round display. The red berries in fall persist through winter and are attractive to birds. Largely pest-free and deer resistant.
