Forever® Purple Coral Bells

Plant in spring or fall in moist, well-drained soil in partial shade, spacing 12–18 inches apart. Forever Purple is a coral bells variety with deep, rich purple foliage that holds its color reliably throughout the growing season. Incorporate compost into the planting area and water well. Mulch lightly to retain moisture. Avoid hot, dry, or fully exposed sites for best performance.

Remove tattered or old foliage in early spring before new growth emerges. Divide clumps every three to four years in spring, replanting at the correct depth to prevent heaving. Feed lightly with a balanced fertilizer in spring. The deep, saturated purple foliage provides reliable, long-lasting color in the shade garden and creates beautiful contrast with chartreuse, silver, or bright-colored companion plants. The airy flower spikes attract hummingbirds.
