Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 24–30 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Lean conditions produce the best, most compact growth- avoid rich or moist soils.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Pinch stem tips back in late spring and again in midsummer to encourage a bushier, more compact plant and more flower stems in fall- without pinching, plants can become tall and floppy. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 2–3 years in spring. Largely pest-free. The pure white, daisy-like flowers in late summer and fall are clean, cheerful, and long-lasting.
