Morning Star Deep Rose Sea Thrift

Plant in average to lean, well-drained to dry soil. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Good drainage is essential- sea thrift will not tolerate wet or heavy soil.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is highly drought tolerant and prefers drier conditions. Deadhead spent flower heads promptly to encourage continued bloom and prevent the clumps from becoming weedy. Cut back any tired or brown foliage in summer or early spring to refresh the plant. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Largely pest-free, deer resistant, and very tolerant of salt and coastal conditions. The deep rose pompom flowers over fine, grass-like foliage are charming and long-lasting.
