Planting Tips

Plant in moist to average, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. The long, cascading foliage creates a dramatic weeping effect- choose a location where the arching habit can be appreciated.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought in partial shade. No pruning is needed to maintain the natural weeping form. Trim back to a few inches in early spring to remove old foliage before fresh growth emerges cleanly. Divide every 4–5 years in spring if clumps become crowded. Largely pest-free and very low-maintenance.
