Planting Tips

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Set the crown 2–3 inches below the soil surface. Provide a trellis or support. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to keep the root zone cool.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season. Check the plant tag for pruning group. Feed with a balanced fertilizer in spring after pruning and again in midsummer. Watch for clematis wilt. The large, softly colored flowers are produced freely over a long season on this compact, well-behaved clematis. An excellent choice for containers, small garden trellises, and obelisks where a reliable, free-flowering clematis is desired.
