Arctic Fire® Dogwood

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Adaptable to clay, wet, and poor soils. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water consistently after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. For the most vivid red stem color, cut one-third of the oldest stems to the ground in late winter each year- the youngest stems are the brightest. Fertilize lightly in spring. Arctic Fire® is a compact, dwarf red-stemmed dogwood that brings brilliant winter stem color to smaller spaces. The brilliant red stems are outstanding in winter. Largely pest-free. An excellent, low-maintenance native shrub for wet areas and rain gardens.
