Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 15–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers for continuous bloom. Cut back by one-third in midsummer to encourage compact regrowth and often a second flush. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 2–3 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. The Designer Threads™ series has unusually distinctive, fine-petaled flowers. Creamy Calico produces soft, creamy-white flowers with delicate patterning- a refined, gentle color combination for the summer border.
