Aureo Marginata Japanese Wintercreeper

Plant in spring or fall in well-drained, average soil in partial shade to full sun, spacing 18–24 inches apart. Aureo Marginata is an evergreen euonymus groundcover with small, gold-edged, dark green leaves that provides year-round color. It adapts to a wide range of conditions and is excellent on slopes and banks. Dig the planting hole to the depth of the root ball and water well.

Shear or trim as needed to control spread and maintain a tidy appearance. Wintercreeper can be invasive in some regions — check local recommendations before planting in naturalized or woodland settings. Keep soil moderately moist until established. No regular fertilizing is needed. The gold-edged evergreen foliage provides attractive year-round color, particularly in winter when the golden markings show most vividly. Good for groundcover use.
