Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 15–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. After the first flush of bloom, cut back by about half to refresh the plant and encourage a second wave of flowers in late summer. Cut to the ground in late fall. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. A compact, tidy cranesbill with rich magenta-pink flowers and good disease resistance. An excellent front-of-border plant.
