Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly around the base.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Rozanne is one of the longest-blooming perennials available- the violet-blue flowers appear from early summer continuously through fall with very little deadheading needed. Cut back by half in midsummer if plants look untidy to encourage a fresh flush of growth and bloom. Cut to the ground in late fall. Divide every 4–5 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. An exceptional, award-winning perennial.
