Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season- Japanese forest grass appreciates reliable moisture and will scorch in dry conditions, especially with more sun exposure. The golden color is brightest in some shade- direct afternoon sun can bleach the foliage. Cut back to a few inches in early spring before new growth emerges. Divide every 3–4 years in spring to refresh older clumps. Fertilize lightly in spring. Largely pest-free. The cascading golden foliage is luminous in shaded settings.
