Holden's™ Pink Rhododendron

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0) with generous organic matter. Space 4–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the crown.

Water deeply and consistently throughout the growing season. Rhododendrons have shallow roots and need reliable moisture. Prune lightly immediately after flowering- rhododendrons bloom on old wood. Fertilize in spring with an acid rhododendron fertilizer. The Holden's™ series was developed at the Holden Arboretum for exceptional cold hardiness and performance in northern climates. Pink produces soft, clear pink flowers on a well-formed, cold-hardy shrub. Monitor for lace bugs. Largely otherwise pest-free.
