Pee Wee Oakleaf Hydrangea

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water consistently, especially during the first season and summer dry spells. Oakleaf hydrangea blooms on old wood- prune only lightly immediately after flowering, and avoid heavy pruning in fall or early spring which removes next year's flower buds. Fertilize lightly in spring with an acid fertilizer. A particularly compact oakleaf hydrangea with all the ornamental appeal of the species- white flower panicles, peeling bark, and vivid fall color- in a smaller, more manageable form. Largely pest-free.
