Planting Tips

Plant with the rhizomes at or just below the soil surface in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Care Tips

Water regularly, especially during spring growth and bloom. Keep foliage growing through summer after flowering- it feeds the rhizomes for next year's blooms. Cut back foliage in late fall. Divide clumps every 3–4 years in late summer after flowering when vigor and bloom quality begin to decline. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Siberian iris tolerates wet conditions and clay soil better than bearded iris. Largely pest-free. The creamy white and soft yellow bicolor flowers are delicate and elegant.
