Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained to dry soil. Space 6–8 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Excellent drainage is essential.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is highly drought tolerant and exceptionally adaptable to lean, sandy, rocky, and coastal soils. Little pruning is needed- the natural, arching, vase-shaped form is distinctive. Fertilize lightly in spring if desired. Sea Green is one of the most popular spreading junipers- the graceful, arching, fountain-like form is quite elegant and the vivid sea-green foliage holds its fresh color reliably throughout the year. Largely pest-free. Monitor for spider mites in hot, dry conditions.
