Planting Tips

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Delphiniums prefer cool, moist conditions and perform best in northern and coastal gardens.

Care Tips

Water consistently and deeply throughout the growing season- delphiniums need reliable moisture. Stake plants before they lean- the tall flower spikes are wind-sensitive. Cut back flower spikes to the first side shoot after the first flush of bloom to encourage a second flush. Monitor for slugs and powdery mildew. Fertilize in spring and after cutting back with a balanced fertilizer. Remove all foliage in late fall. Kingsley produces tall, elegant, densely packed flower spikes in vivid blue to purple tones- a classic, refined delphinium for cottage garden settings.
