Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil amended with compost. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly. Good air circulation at planting time helps reduce powdery mildew later.

Care Tips

Water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continued bloom and prevent excessive self-seeding. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 2–3 years in spring when the center of the clump begins to die out. Monitor for powdery mildew in late summer- this compact series has improved mildew resistance but good air circulation always helps. Highly attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.
