Planting Tips

Plant in average to lean, well-drained soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Lean soil and excellent drainage are important for long-term performance.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flower spikes to encourage a second flush of bloom. Cut back to the basal foliage rosette in late fall. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. The soft, clear pink tubular flowers attract hummingbirds and bees consistently throughout the bloom period. A refined, low-fuss perennial for sunny, well-drained borders.
