Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 5–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly around the base.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is moderately drought tolerant. Prune by removing one-third of the oldest canes at the base immediately after flowering- mockorange blooms on old wood and pruning at other times removes next year's flower buds. Fertilize lightly in early spring. The intensely fragrant, double white flowers are one of the most powerfully scented of any spring-blooming shrub. Largely pest-free. An outstanding shrub for fragrance gardens.
