Volcano® Lilac Splash Garden Phlox

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly. Good air circulation is important for mildew prevention.

Water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead spent flower clusters to extend bloom. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Monitor for powdery mildew- this series has improved resistance. Fertilize lightly in spring. The lilac-colored flowers with a distinctive white splash at the center create an attractive bi-color effect. Highly attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds over a long season from midsummer through fall.
