Soft apricot buds open to antique white flowers packed with 24 to 30 petals, carried in clusters. Rosa 'BAIcham', sold as Easy Elegance® Champagne Wishes, grows 3 to 4 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide in full sun, hardy from Zone 4 through Zone 9.
The buds are worth looking at on their own, and the apricot holds a while before the flowers open and fade to a clear creamy white.
Most of the Easy Elegance roses come from the renowned breeder Ping Lim, aimed at putting hybrid tea flower quality on a plant that survives a northern winter without a spray program. They grow on their own roots rather than grafted, so a plant killed back in a hard winter comes back as itself. Pruning is a cutback in early spring and nothing more.
It repeats continually through the season and holds its petals well once cut.
