Pairs well with

Plum Perfect Rose holds an intense plum-purple that does not fade, which is unusual since purple roses typically wash out to gray-mauve in summer heat. Rosa 'Korvodacom' grows 2 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide in full sun, hardy from Zone 5 through Zone 10.

Bloom is continuous from early summer to frost, and the flowers are fragrant and carried in clusters on a floribunda frame.

The Sunbelt roses were selected for heat performance specifically, tested in conditions where most European-bred roses stop flowering by August. This one keeps going.

Disease resistance is high, so the foliage holds clean through humid summers with no spray program. The narrow habit, taller than wide, suits a tight bed or a spot between a walk and a wall. Cut back by about a third in early spring. Shipped on its own roots.

Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the canes.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly throughout the season. Deadhead spent blooms for continuous flowering. Prune in early spring to remove dead or weak canes. Fertilize with a rose fertilizer in spring and after each bloom flush. The Sunbelt® series is bred for heat tolerance and disease resistance, making it a reliable performer in warm, humid climates. Monitor for black spot. The deep plum-purple flowers are richly colored and distinctive- an unusual and striking color in the landscape rose category.
