Dark gold cupped flowers in clusters, 17 to 25 petals each, carrying a moderate fragrance and holding their color through heat. Rosa 'KORberbeni', sold as Sunbelt® South Africa®, grows 4 feet tall and 2 feet wide in full sun, hardy from Zone 5 through Zone 10.
The Sunbelt roses come from Kordes and were selected for performance in hot climates, where most roses stop flowering by August. This one keeps going.
The flowers open enough for bees to reach the pollen, and Star lists it as a plant for pollinators. The habit is upright and spreading, narrow enough for a tight bed or a row along a fence.
