Pairs well with

Large full double flowers with 35 petals in peachy-pink to apricot, carrying a fresh sweet fruit fragrance. Rosa 'Meinostair', sold as Sweet Mademoiselle™, PP 28,659, grows up to 5 feet tall in full sun, hardy from Zone 5 through Zone 11.

The color shifts with temperature, running lighter through summer heat and deepening to a more vibrant pink as the weather cools, so the same plant looks different in June and September.

Zone 5 through Zone 11 is a wider range than most roses carry, taking both hard winters and subtropical heat.

Two awards: American Garden Rose Selections and the American Rose Society. The long stems cut well, and it sits in both the Scentables and Fragrant Roses collections.

Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the canes.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season. Deadhead spent blooms for continuous flowering. Prune in early spring to remove dead or weak canes. Fertilize with a rose fertilizer in spring and after each bloom flush. Good disease resistance. Monitor for black spot and aphids. The delicate, soft pink flowers carry a pleasant fragrance and are produced in consistent flushes throughout the season. A refined, romantic landscape rose with excellent all-season performance.
