Snow Pavement Rose

Plant in spring or fall in well-drained soil, spacing 3–4 feet apart. Snow Pavement is a white rugosa rose with semi-double, intensely fragrant white flowers and the exceptional toughness that characterizes all rugosa roses. It adapts to sandy, poor, and coastal conditions and requires minimal care. Water well at planting and reduce as the plant establishes.

Prune lightly in early spring to remove dead wood and shape. Rugosa roses are exceptionally tough and disease resistant. The fragrant white flowers are followed by large, ornamental rose hips in fall that are both ornamental and edible. No heavy fertilizing is needed. An outstanding, virtually care-free rose for difficult sites including coastal gardens, sandy soils, and exposed locations where most roses would struggle.
