This improved variety is highly resistant to the black spot fungus that plagues older types, keeping its foliage clean and green. It forms a perfect, compact dome covered in golden-yellow flowers from mid-summer to frost.

Plant American Gold Rush Black-eyed Susan in well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Space plants 18-24 inches apart. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, but avoid overwatering.
