Bicolor flowers of violet-blue and white bloom along upright stems above grey-green foliage. This hybrid is vigorous, heat tolerant, and attracts bumblebees all summer.

Plant Appalachian Blues Skullcap in well-drained soil with full to partial sun exposure. Space plants about 12-18 inches apart. Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring. Prune back after flowering to encourage bushier growth. Protect from extreme heat and cold.
