Pink Octopus Bellflower

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Water regularly after planting; once established it has good drought tolerance. After the main flush of bloom, shear the plant back by about half to remove spent flowers and tidy the sprawling stems- this often encourages a second flush of bloom. Divide every 2–3 years in spring or fall to control spread and maintain vigor. Watch for slugs in moist conditions. The unusual, spidery, outward-facing pink flowers on long, trailing stems create a unique, eye-catching effect in the garden.
