Dwarf Gracilis Hinoki Cypress

Plant in spring or fall in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep around the base. Space according to mature size noted on the plant tag.

Water deeply and regularly after planting; moderate drought tolerance once established but performs best with consistent moisture. Little to no pruning is needed- the graceful, layered form is the plant's greatest asset and should not be altered with heavy shearing. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Largely pest- and disease-free. A superb slow-growing specimen for small gardens, rock gardens, and containers.
