Soft Serve® False Cypress

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water deeply and regularly the first 2–3 seasons; once established it is moderately drought tolerant. Soft Serve® has a naturally neat, slightly irregular, conical form that requires essentially no pruning. The soft, feathery, bright green foliage is unusually fine and fluffy in texture, like soft-serve ice cream- giving the plant a uniquely light, airy character. Fertilize lightly in spring. Monitor for spider mites in hot, dry conditions. An outstanding, low-maintenance conifer specimen. Largely otherwise pest-free.
