Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the trunk.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly the first 2–3 seasons. Once established it is moderately drought tolerant. The naturally upright, columnar form requires very little pruning to maintain. A light trim in late spring tidies any irregular growth. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Largely pest- and disease-free. A compact, slow-growing selection ideal for foundation plantings, tight spaces, and formal landscape accents where a refined, narrow evergreen is needed.
