Early Sunrise Tickseed

Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Coreopsis adapts to lean and sandy soils- avoid overly rich or consistently wet conditions.

Water regularly the first season; very drought tolerant once established. Deadhead spent flowers consistently to keep the plant blooming from late spring through fall. Cut back by about one-third after the main summer flush to encourage a fresh round of blooms. Divide every 2–3 years in spring to maintain vigor. Very few pest or disease problems. A classic, long-blooming perennial that is one of the easiest to grow.
