Lil Bang™ Red Elf Coreopsis

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Average to lean soil is preferred- rich soil encourages floppy growth at the expense of flowers.

Water regularly the first season; established plants handle drought well. Deadhead spent blooms consistently to maintain continuous flowering. Cut back by about one-third after the first main flush to encourage a second wave of bloom in late summer. Divide every 2–3 years in spring to keep plants vigorous. Largely pest- and disease-free. Deep red flowers are a bold, striking color for coreopsis and combine beautifully with gold and orange companions.
