Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly around the base. Coreopsis is adaptable to lean and sandy soils- avoid overly rich or wet conditions.

Care Tips

Water regularly the first season; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Deadhead spent flowers consistently to maintain continuous bloom from early summer through fall. Cut plants back by about one-third after the main summer flush to tidy growth and encourage renewed flowering. Divide every 2–3 years in spring to maintain vigor. Very few pest or disease problems.
