Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in moist, well-drained, humus-enriched soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch around the base.

Care Tips

Water regularly; consistent moisture is important for healthy growth. Deadhead the main spike after flowering to encourage side shoot blooming. Allow some seed to develop to promote self-sowing. Watch for slugs in wet conditions. All parts are toxic if ingested.
