Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season. Hellebores prefer reliably moist, cool conditions in partial to full shade. Cut back the previous year's foliage in late winter to make way for new flowers and leaves. Divide clumps every 4–5 years in late summer. Fertilize lightly in spring. Frostkiss® selections have exceptionally beautiful, variegated foliage with silver or gold markings- an outstanding ornamental feature all season long. Cheryl's Shine produces particularly luminous, golden-marked leaves that glow in shaded settings. Largely deer resistant and pest-free.
