Planting Tips

Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water deeply and consistently- Hollywood Hibiscus® are tender tropical hibiscus ideal for containers in most of North America. Bring containers indoors before frost in cold climates. Fertilize regularly with a bloom-boosting fertilizer during the growing season. Deadhead spent flowers daily. Rico Suave™ produces very large, elegantly formed flowers in smooth, suave, sophisticated color tones- the name perfectly captures the refined, debonair character of this selection. Keep in full sun for best flowering.
