Mr. Poppins® Winterberry

Plant in moist, well-drained to wet, acidic to average soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch generously. Mr. Poppins® is a male pollinator — plant it near Berry Poppins® or other compact female winterberry plants for berry production.

Water consistently and generously — winterberry thrives in moist to wet conditions. Mr. Poppins® is a dwarf male pollinator specifically bred to pair with compact female winterberry varieties such as Berry Poppins®. One Mr. Poppins® can pollinate several nearby female plants within about 50 feet. No berries are produced on the male plant itself. Prune lightly in early spring if needed. Fertilize lightly in spring with an acid fertilizer. Largely pest-free.
