Swans in Flight Siberian Iris

Plant with the rhizomes just at or slightly below the soil surface in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Water regularly, especially during spring growth and bloom. After flowering, keep the foliage growing through summer- it fuels the rhizomes for next year's bloom. Cut back foliage in late fall after it has died down. Divide clumps every 3–4 years in late summer after flowering to maintain vigor and bloom quality. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Siberian iris is highly adaptable, tolerating wet conditions and clay soil better than bearded iris. Largely pest-free.
