Big Time Blue Lavender

Plant in average to lean, well-drained to dry soil. Space 24–30 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Excellent drainage is absolutely essential- lavender will not survive in wet, heavy, or poorly drained soil.

Water after planting then reduce significantly once established- lavender thrives in lean, dry conditions. Shear back by one-third immediately after the first flush of bloom to encourage compact, dense regrowth and often a second flush of flowers. Shear lightly again in early spring to remove winter damage. Avoid cutting into old, leafless wood. Fertilize very lightly in spring. Big Time Blue produces notably large, intensely colored deep-blue flower spikes- one of the most vivid blues in any lavender selection. Deer resistant and largely pest-free.
