Etouffee® Sterile Fountain Grass

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Cut back to within a few inches of the ground in early spring. A sterile, non-seeding fountain grass selection that provides all the ornamental appeal of the species without invasive self-seeding. The warm, coppery-bronze foliage and feathery plumes are particularly attractive. Do not cut back in fall- the foliage and seed heads provide attractive winter interest. Note: verify cold hardiness for your zone on the plant tag.
