Little Bunny Dwarf Fountain Grass

Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained soil, spacing 12–18 inches apart. Little Bunny is a very compact, dwarf fountain grass — significantly smaller than standard fountain grass — with soft, fluffy, white-tan seed heads on a tidy, rounded mound. It adapts to average conditions without special preparation. Water regularly for the first few weeks, then reduce as the plant establishes.

Cut plants back to 4–6 inches in late winter before new growth begins. The soft, fluffy seed heads are irresistible and particularly appealing to children — hence the name. No fertilizing is needed in average soils. The compact, rounded habit and soft texture make Little Bunny an excellent choice for the front of borders, mixed containers, and any location where a smaller, tidier ornamental grass is needed.
