Renaissance Spiraea

Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained soil, spacing 3–4 feet apart. Renaissance is a compact, early-blooming spirea with pure white flowers in mid-spring — one of the first spiraeas to bloom each season. It adapts to average garden conditions without special soil preparation. Water well at planting and mulch lightly. Keep consistently watered through the first growing season.

Prune right after flowering — spirea blooms on old wood, so pruning later removes next year's flower buds. A light trim after bloom shapes the plant and encourages good branching.
