Planting Tips

Plant in lean, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0). Space 12–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Excellent drainage is essential.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Shear lightly after flowering to maintain a compact, tidy form. Do not cut into old, leafless wood. Fertilize lightly in spring with an acid fertilizer. Tib is a double-flowered heather with richly colored, rosy-purple blooms- the double flowers are particularly full and long-lasting compared to single-flowered types. A fine-textured, evergreen heather with good late summer to fall bloom and year-round foliage interest. Largely pest-free and deer resistant.
