Lucky Charm Windflower

Plant in spring or fall in moist, humus-rich soil in partial shade, spacing 18–24 inches apart. Lucky Charm is a hybrid anemone with attractive flowers produced from late summer through fall — providing valuable bloom color in the shade garden when most other shade perennials have finished. Incorporate compost into the planting area. Mulch well. Keep consistently watered through the first season.

Once established, Japanese-type anemones spread readily by underground runners. Keep soil consistently moist. Remove spent flowers or allow seed heads to develop for additional interest.
