Silver Lining Artemisia

Plant in average to lean, well-drained to dry soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting. Excellent drainage is essential- artemisia will not tolerate wet or poorly drained soil.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is highly drought tolerant. Cut back by half in late spring if the plant becomes leggy, to encourage compact, dense regrowth. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 2–3 years in spring. No fertilization needed. The intensely silver, shimmering foliage is the standout ornamental feature- one of the brightest and most luminous silvers available in any perennial. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. Excellent as a foliage contrast plant.
