Planting Tips

Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting.

Care Tips

Water regularly through the growing season. To keep plants compact and encourage more blooms, cut or pinch stems back by half in late spring to early summer, then allow to grow naturally into fall. Cut to the ground in late fall or early spring. Divide every 2–3 years in spring when the center of the clump becomes open and woody. Powdery mildew may appear on lower foliage in late summer- good spacing and air circulation help reduce it.
